 4th - 6th Grade Summer Camps - at Lazy F!

Explorers

Dates: July 15th - July 20th 2012
Grades: 4th - 6th
Cost: $290 / $330 / $370
Pastor: TBD

Explorers is geared towards our younger summer campers looking for plenty of adventure. Whether it's your child's first time away at summer camp or third - campers will enjoy an exciting combination of the best of classic camp activities and  new creative challenges in a safe and nurturing environment. Campers will have opportunities to go hiking, get creative in the craft cabin, do archery, go climbing on our tower, take part in water activities, enjoy team competitions, learn wilderness skills and many more adventurous things!

Junior Backwoods

*All NEW Camp*

July 1st - July 4th 2012
Grades 4th - 6th
Cost: $200 / $240 / $280
Pastor: TBD

In the backwoods, campers spend a week in a small, tight-knit, community of friends.  Campers are joined together by their experience at our Tee Pee Village where they will learn to cook their own food, develop basic wilderness skills, and share in faith and fellowship.  Along the way, campers have a chance to venture on our climbing tower, hike trails throughout the canyon and build on new and returning friendships.  Once a day campers come back into camp to share a meal and join in all-camp events.

Wranglers

*Extended Age Range*

Dates: July 15th - July 20th 2012
Grades: 4th - 9th (Limit 30 participants)
Cost: $475 / $525 / $575
Pastor: Cathy Raymond, Lay Preacher at Tumwater UMC

This year we are merging Jr Wrangler Camps & Mid-High Wranglers to make for the ultimate Wrangler Camp Experience. At Wrangler Camp we will travel by bus to the Flying Horseshoe Ranch in Cle Elum every full day you are at camp. There you will enjoy being responsible for your own horse, including grooming, bridling, saddling and, of course, riding. When not riding you will have the opportunity to go swimming in the pool or maybe learn basic roping skills. The Flying Horseshoe staff are very professional and understanding individuals with many years of experience teaching youth to ride horses. Check out more information on the Flying Horseshoe at www.flyinghorseshoeranch.com. Boots and Helmets are provided.

After your day of fun at the Flying Horseshoe you will return to Lazy F for more fun and to experience all the traditional camping activities, including campfires, a talent show, creek time, arts and crafts and much, much more!
